How do you prioritize pages for SEO vs new blog posts?

Optimize existing pages first—they already have age and authority. I look at Google Search Console to identify pages ranking #11-30 that could reach page one with improvements. These are quick wins compared to building new content from scratch.

Once high-potential existing pages are optimized, I create new content targeting gaps in your keyword coverage or addressing topics competitors rank for. New blog posts build topical authority over time and create internal linking opportunities. Think of it as renovation before construction: maximize what you have before building new. Both matter, but existing page optimization typically shows faster results.
